Found this really great video a little while ago of a little horse by the name of Rumba performing a whole range of tricks…& having fun at the some time by the look of it!
This should give you a few ideas on tricks to teach your horse. The one thing you must remember though, is what you see in the video is the result of weeks or months, if not years of training. It won’t happen overnight, but it helps to show you just what can be done with a bit of careful training.
The best way for trick training horses, is one of the many natural horsemanship methods that’s out there these days. Natural horsemanship gives your horse the basic training and confidence in you to respect you and understand whatever cues you give them. It also gets you in the ‘right frame of mind’ so that you learn how to understand your horse better!
